Yesterday, saw the first XV's rugby pre-sesason game of the 2012 season. Glenfield took a squad of players to Waitemata and they played on and off for 100 minutes, with a short break every 20 minutes. I think whilst we were there, we experienced four seasons in one day.

Today the boys and I dropped Alexandria off at a birthday party, then headed over to celebrate Japan Day at the show grounds. It was awesome "The Food Truck" was there filming another season with Chef Michael Van De Elzen. I love that show, so am now looking forward to the new series and grabbing the recipe for his Teriyaki Lamb Rice Balls.
there were heaps of yaki-soba stalls which we all ate
and we thought of Alexandria whilst wandering around the pavilions getting her this necklace with her nickname written on a grain of rice.
we loved the performance by the Tamashii Taiko Drummers
and then Hip Hop Dance from an Australian group, they were unbelievable!
We stopped in the city to get a cold drink on the way back to the shore, and ended up finding this little food stall where once again we were eating - this time waffles and crepes.
We swung by and picked up Alexandria on the way home, and now it is time to think about dinner. I have Chilli Chicken in the oven and don't have a clue what we are going to have with it. Onwards and upwards!
